Election Comission Set To Announce Haryana, Maharashtra Poll Dates Today

The Election Commission of India seems to be set with all notices regarding the poll dates because today they are going to expose the assembly election dates for 2 various states that are Haryana and Maharashtra. The dates will be announced in the noon, though the time has not been disclosed yet.

In Haryana, the legislative will get expired on 2nd November whereas, in Maharashtra, it will get expired on 9th November. Currently, the scores of various parties are as follows:

  • BJP – 122
  • Congress – 42
  • Shiv Sena – 63
  • National Congress Party – 41
  • Others – 20

Previously in the year 2014, the Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) had participated separately. Till then they were providing their services without fail for the past 15 years but unfortunately, they got separated because of some disagreements over sharing of the seat.

When sources communicated with Prithiviraj Chavan who is the leader of the Congress Party told that their party and NCP will fight for at least 125 seats and are planning to leave around 41 seats for smaller parties.

In the month of April and May when Lok Sabha elections were on its peak, the party Congress got only one seat whereas NCP got 4 seats, the winner was BJP who won more than 20 seats whereas Shiv Sena got defeated with only a few numbers, winning 18 seats.
