Reliance Jio has launched a new interactive digital voice assistant named Jio Saarthi. In a press release, the company said that the voice assistant is integrated with the MyJio application. Reliance expects the digital voice assistant will make the recharge process easier and faster for their customers. Jio Saarthi is currently rolling out to both Android as well as iOS users through the MyJio app.

The new digital voice assistant will be available in Hindi and English for now. Reliance Jio plans to add support for 12 more regional languages to the voice assistant. The company has mentioned in the press release that they hope Jio Saarthi will encourage digital recharges among users. As per them the complexity of digital recharge process will be now a lot lesser. Jio Saarthi is also capable to guide you verbally through the recharge process. It will help the users to find their card numbers, other details and more.
To use the virtual assistant you will need to first open the MyJio app. Now tap on the ‘recharge’ option and then tap on the Jio Saarthi button. Once you tap on the button the digital voice-based assistant will take you through the recharge process. The assistant will do one step at a time and it will guide you through everything starting from the best offers on plans to payment info forms.
Reliance Jio, which has launched just a few years back has now become the largest telecom operator in India. The telecom operator ended June with an user base of around 331.3 million which is much higher than its closest competitors. The company has beaten both Bharti Airtel as well as Vodafone Idea in terms of the customer base in the country. Reliance Jio is also expected to enter the broadband service next month with their Jio GigaFiber.
