Mumbai To Get Its Own Tirupati Balaji Temple In Bandra East

Traveling to Andhra Pradesh for seeking the blessings of Tirupati Balaji Temple from Mumbai is not so easy. You need to have a proper plan, and time for that. However, there is brilliant news for Mumbaikars. According to the sources, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam is planning to build a mirror temple of the Tirupati Balaji in the Bandra East area of the city.

The tentative amount that will be spent on creating the entire building would cost around Rs.30 crores, and the construction of the temple will start in the month of January 2021. The time required to complete the building would be around 2 years. According to the sources, if COVID wouldn’t have attacked the nation, then the construction process could have begun already.

Once inaugurated, the whole temple will be managed by the Tirupati Devasthanam board itself. Considering the dedication of devotees, and the disappointments of not being able to visit the original temple in Andhra Pradesh, the trust has taken this decision.

The project has been given to Architect Hafeez Contractor. As per the design till now, it is believed that there is going to be two floors in which the ground floor will have garbhalayam. Apart from this, there will be rooms for staying, staff quarters, meditation, and yoga space, and much more.
