A total number of 35,000 police personnel will perform their duty on Mumbai roads, and make sure that no one is breaking the COVID-19 safety rules, and following all the guidelines.
No Boat Or Terrace Parties This New Year’s Eve In Mumbai
Vishwas Nangre Patil who is working as a Joint Commissioner of Police in the Law and Order department has disclosed that cops will ensure that there are no people on the road roaming unnecessarily. At any place, a gathering of more than 5 people is not allowed.
However, the city is still making your New Year’s Eve exciting by allowing you to step out of the house after 11 PM but if you are a group of 4, only then you are permitted. Mumbaikers can visit Juhu beach, Gateway of India, Girgaum, Marine Drive, Madh Island, and more.
So, gearing up for New Year can still be done. However, it is highly recommended to stay home and welcome 2021 from home itself because the current situation is not at all good in Mumbai.
