Can you imagine Mumbaikers not doing parties on New Year’s Eve? Well, this year it is going to happen. Apologies for killing all your excitement, but this fact cannot be denied! No matter, how much you are gearing up for the special party, you won’t be able to enjoy a bit of it.

Coming straight to the point, the night curfew has been implemented in the city of dreams till 05th January 2021, and all pubs, restaurants, clubs have been warned to shut down by 11 PM, no matter what! A total number of 35,000 police personnel will perform their duty on Mumbai roads, and make sure that no one is breaking the COVID-19 safety rules, and following all the guidelines.

Vishwas Nangre Patil who is working as a Joint Commissioner of Police in the Law and Order department has disclosed that cops will ensure that there are no people on the road roaming unnecessarily. At any place, a gathering of more than 5 people is not allowed.

However, the city is still making your New Year’s Eve exciting by allowing you to step out of the house after 11 PM but if you are a group of 4, only then you are permitted. Mumbaikers can visit Juhu beach, Gateway of India, Girgaum, Marine Drive, Madh Island, and more.

So, gearing up for New Year can still be done. However, it is highly recommended to stay home and welcome 2021 from home itself because the current situation is not at all good in Mumbai.
